Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Society in general:

As little girls, we are told we can have it all. We can be who we want to be. But, in reality, that’s a lie. We can’t have it all. We shouldn’t teach our daughters that. It’s a false hope.

  • How I responded:

As a mama, wife, entrepreneur, and speaker, that didn’t sit well with me. I had an awakening: You can have it all; it just might look different than what you had in mind. I am here to help you find a new perspective. Don’t go through life, grow through life. Living in the age of burnout, with high-stress and limited time, it’s hard to win. No matter how busy you are, happiness is a battle worth fighting. Get out of your own way and claim the life you want.
