My typical day involves a heavy amount of auditing departments on their compliance status as well as looking into which record inventories can and should be destroyed. In these processes there is a lot of pre-meeting research into what retention schedules a group may have and what changes have come up. This is info is brought into a number of meetings throughout the day and is specific to each group that I meet with. On the tail end, we track everything for auditing needs.
