This helps measure the impact of the course on students’ confidence and sense of purpose and ensures that the course is as impactful as possible for students from all different backgrounds and programs.

You'll fine-tune the process of self-exploration by identifying how outside influences have affected your decisions in life. By “shedding the Noise” and separating who you are from what others want you to be, you'll create a new definition of success for yourself in your education and career.

You'll use the Roadmap tool to explore your interests and match them to careers. By discovering careers that are connected to your interests, and hearing real career stories from people who share those interests too, you'll be able to approach your future career from the perspective of what motivates and interests you.

Talk to a professional for advice

After identifying your interests, you'll research people in your community who are working in careers connected to your interests. To complete your Interview Project, you’ll schedule an informal conversation with one of them where you’ll get to ask about their career and life journey to get insights for your own path—then you’ll share what you learned.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR EDUCATORS

To finish the course, students must complete the post-course impact assessment. Completing this assessment helps ensure that the course continues to positively impact students, and the feedback gathered helps shape the course for future students. Each student should only complete the post-course impact assessment once. Students can only access the assessment once they’ve submitted their Interview Project and all lesson questions.
