On Sundays I now teach in the Three's and Four's class previously I had tought in the Kindergarten class for over a year. I start by welcoming children as they come in and letting them and their parents feel safe. Then I play with the children and run through the curriculum while the parents are in service. On Wednesday's I care for the children of our volunteers at the church, I make sure the kids have something fun to do in a safe environment for the night.

  • Observe and monitor children's play activities.
  • Communicate with children's parents or guardians about daily activities, behaviors, and related issues.
  • Support children's emotional and social development, encouraging understanding of others and positive self-concepts.
