Milestones

My road in life has taken me all over.
Going away from the town where I grew up in was a pretty big milestone for me. Living abroad was really important, because it opened my eyes to the world and gave me awesome new experiences.
Moving to San Francisco was another really big moment in my life—it really helped to jump start my career. Being in the hub of technology in the U.S. was a major advantage at that point.
Meeting my wife was obviously a pretty important moment.
And having my child was another obvious milestone.

Helping People

Day to Day

On a typical day I facilitate agreements or through disagreements. I help my team through personal or professional issues and help them develop their career. I help with managing long term plans for projects, so my team can focus on just the next couple of weeks. When we don't meet deadlines or our project can't do what we were asked to make it do yet, I deal with those situations so that end so my team can focus on their work.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for everyone

Find something you're passionate about and go do it, especially if it involves technology. If you love to do something, then employers will see that. Just go make projects you're proud of.
