Milestones

My road in life has been direct.
I had over 8 jobs and I came to the conclusion that I HATE WORKING FOR PEOPLE. I hate being scheduled for shifts I didn't even want to do but had to do because I needed the money.

Day to Day

There are busy and booked moments, especially and mostly during the holidays or something special going on (New Years, Valentine's, birthdays, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, etc). There are days where it's slow, for example, me right now. Not many people are booking with me, but it's okay because I have a surprise on the way!

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for everyone

I got started by doing research and finding different lash educators to get a Lash Extension Certificate. Classes to get a certificate may be a little pricey but I promise it's worth every single penny because you'll make the money back. I only recommend it if you know it's what you want to do. If you feel like you could easily get bored of it and not have patience, you'll just be wasting your time and the investments made. But then again, you never know until you try.

Hurdles

The Noise I Shed

From Myself:

"From the start, I had high expectations for myself and my work. Also, my mom was very disappointed in me when she found out I dropped out of college to focus on lashing and beauty instead; I used that as motivation."
