Faculty Lecturer
I mentor and teach future teachers, current teachers, and first year students.
On a typical day, I would review my plans for what I’m going to teach in my classes and ensure I am prepared with everything I need to teach. Between teaching, I answer emails, hold office hours, plan for my next classes, grade assignments, and provide feedback.
Here's the first step for everyone
If you like helping others, working with others, and value fostering relationships, teaching is such a rewarding job. If you have particular passions that align with your interests and happiness, then continue to pursue it; but, also explore your choices. Be open to learning experiences and opportunities that may lead to something even greater. You never know, one experience can open the door for more opportunities!
