I try to prepare my students for life after high school using business content.
Most of my day is hanging out with students and being a facilitator of learning. I try to setup my classes so students are discovering information as opposed to me just telling them. Occasionally, I have to do some grading and attend meetings, but mostly I just interact with students.
Here's the first step for college students
Volunteer in schools as much as you can. Once you have your Associates, get your substitute license and start being a substitute.
