My path in life took a while to figure out
1.
I married a year after high school graduation.
2.
I didn't start my college career until I had two children. I also worked full time while attending college.
3.
I started a secretarial service.
4.
On a sales call for my secretarial service, I was offered a job as executive director of an association.
5.
Since then I've always been in the association management industry.
6.
Sometimes, you have to be open to other possibilities. I thought I'd have a secretarial service. I didn't even know there was such a thing as association management.
Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement

Messages from Peers:

How I responded:
A career in association management is very rewarding and should be considered. There are associations for almost any industry or even interest you can imagine.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
