Defining Moments

How I responded to discouragement

  • THE NOISE

    Messages from Family:

I shouldn't be a math teacher because I could make a lot more money with my math degree.

  • How I responded:

Make sure that the career you choose is something you love. I tell people that I know I could make more money in the math field but I'd rather make less money doing a job I love. No one has been able to dispute this statement.
