Undecided major for over a year while in college. I'm happy to have discovered my love for teaching art while doing art.
Seeking another degree after 5 years in a teaching career. I had a desire to work at the college level but discovered that I needed a change of school.

Day to Day
My typical work day is conquered through hard work, patience and lots of coffee. I plan my lessons to meet the needs of all (well, most) learners in a way that allows them to be creative and proud of their work. It's a challenge to encourage the growth of mistakes in art because most students strive to be perfect or they won't try at all. I try to spend the end of the day reflecting on strategies that work and to praise those that overcome failure.
