Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
Wanted to go to college but could not afford it. Worked my way through a vocational school
Could not find work in my profession. Started working at this company as a temp
Got married & divorced early in life. It was my fault because I did not understand the commitment marriage required
My career path was very slow, first because of the challenges in the workplace for people of color
My career continued at a slow pace not because of my lack of skill or knowledge but because without a degree, I didn't quality for most opportunities
Hard work and commitment to learning and improving, paid off. I took additional college classes as I could afford them.
My efforts and results were noticed & I was provided with more opportunities. With each task conquered, more opportunities arose.
