Milestones

My road in life has been direct.
Shortly after my one-year anniversary as a full-time employee, I lost my grandmother who played a significant role in my upbringing. My Travelers team showed me that they truly had my back. #Gratitude
Working under great leadership, I successfully implemented my first enterprise software product in 2008.
In 2012, my team worked diligently to deliver a progressive software management solution, resulting in significant savings for the technology organization.
In 2017, I graduated from a premier leadership development program thanks the investment and confidence of my leadership team in my abilities.

Day to Day

Every day begins with open communication with my team. This allows us all to understand what is going well and also identify the hindrances that need to be addressed. We collaborate to fully understand a problem that we have to solve and once fully understood, we transition into the solution design processes. When we are ready, the development or building of the solution takes place. The fun starts.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for college students

Relentlessly connect with professionals who are in your target industry. Network, network and then network a bit more. Don't limit yourself to a job application and resume. Build relationships and find mentors. Your opportunity will emerge.
