How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
"I think you need to move on." Polite way of saying your fired. I had been part of a Family Business that was not winning, we had to part ways. As hard as it was to deal with, I felt like I had failed. I had not failed that miserably before.
How I responded:
Fail fast! You must accept the things you cannot change, reflect on what happened, learn from it and move on with Urgency. Everyone, along their journey has experienced & has been humbled by a failure. Mine set me back for years and was a very difficult thing to overcome, especially with a young family. I learned from it and went forward with an urgency to succeed like never before. I wouldn't be where I am today had I not failed so miserably. I have a great life as a result of that failure.
