Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
First I thought I wanted to go to law school.
So I majored in English.
Then my parents asked that I minor in Computer Science.
So I did.
Then I decided to take a year off before going to law school, to try working in IT.
Then I fell in love with it - so much so that I never thought about law school again.

Day to Day

You'd walk into work and see ping pong tables, pool tables, foosball tables, a PS4 and an X-box One. You'd run a few calls, but spend most of the day preparing for next calls, managing timelines of projects, and creating communications that are delivered in response to projects. Be prepared to see every type of phone, tablet, and computer type imaginable.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for middle school students

Start learning about technology and developing a passion for it. Live, eat and breathe technology. Whether it's coding / development or just learning the functionality of devices so you can teach others how to use it.
