My road in life has taken me all over.
First I went to college.
Then I got an internship with a design firm.
Then I started creating my own art.
Then I took two years off and worked in unrelated industries.
Then I got a job at a Alt-weekly newspaper in town designing ads and doing publication layout.
Then I started working for a cyber e-commerce company doing web design.
Then I went out on my own and decided to be my own boss.
Then I bought an RV and started traveling the US and working from anywhere I wanted!

Day to Day

A great work day for me is driving my RV to the beach or woods and working outside on my computer with the perfect view. Listening to ocean and birds while I work or the sounds of the forest help me to stay inspired and creative!

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for high school students

Research different college design programs and make sure they offer the major that you are looking for. Some schools have better programs than others!
