Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
First I figured out that I wouldn't be happy doing what was available in the tiny town I grew up in.
Education was my only way out.
I was interested in EVERYTHING!
I loved art but figured out it needed to be secondary. I needed to support myself somehow.
Shadowed a lot of different people to find my fit.
Went through the steps to earn my degree and the art would always be there.

Problem Solving

Day to Day

I am very passionate about working with very ill patients in the hospital. I take my students to the ICU and CVICU to see how PT can impact a patient's outcome. My students will tell you they are astounded at how pivotal therapy is in guiding a patient towards wellness. I also teach art. What I try to instill in my students there is to "BE BRAVE!" Most people are so self critical when it comes to expressing themselves artistically. Try everything and learn what works for YOU.
