I've taken a lot of twists and turns

Graduated from an excellent liberal arts college.

Took the first job that I could find.

Wasn't afraid to make a change, 4 jobs in my first two years out of college.

Left the workforce to care for my children and moved to another state.

Looked for an opportunity to combine something I loved with a job.

Took a chance on a career change.

Experiences and challenges that shaped me
Even back in the late 70's and early 80's it was tough to be first generation. I attended a school where most of the students came from professional families and had a lot more money than me. I stayed focused on what I could control, my academics.
