Have received several promotions and am now a Senior Manager.

Here's the first step for college students
I advise taking courses in accounting even if you're not a business, accounting or finance major. Knowing basic principles of accounting can be beneficial regardless of which career path you would like to take and this is something that can be applied in your daily life.
