Music Producer
I Produce Electronic Music.
My day starts with a morning routine to get my mind right. This includes a cold shower, stretch, and 10 mins of deep breathing. I then write in my notebook whatever is on my mind (worries, concerns, goals, etc). Next I fuel my body with something nutritious and begin working on a project. I use Ableton Live and a few midi controls for production. After making a few rough beats to finish later I would work on mastering a project for a client and then get ready for a show I had later that night.
Here's the first step for college students
College isn't needed to become a Music Producer but it will give you some great resources. My school offered classes in state of the art recording studios where I was able to become familiar with some of the best gear and software in the industry.
