Milestones

My road in life took a while to figure out.
First, I studied Criminal Justice and Sociology with some Psychology sprinkled.
These majors were stuff I was interested in but not a career path that I had chosen.
Then I worked with a group that assists people in the mental health community for three years.
I realized this was not what I wanted to do for the rest of my life.
After spending a year working with large exotic cats I realized I wanted a job with stability.
Then I joined Capital One and met a great group of people!

Day to Day

I come into work and greet my co-workers. We are all very friendly with one another so we chat about what is going on in each others lives. I love the fact that I truly get along with these people. Once I have my computer started, I check my system for any cases that I need to follow up on. Then I log in to my phone and start taking calls.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for high school students

This position deals with investing and computers. You should have a good understanding of both. There are classes that you can take while working with Capital One to expand your knowledge but a basic understanding will get you far. Some psychology classed wouldn't hurt either!
