Day to Day

A great day is a day when the team is energetic, active, and ready to go. It starts out with a positive morning meeting going over success stories from the prior day / week, and empowers the team to focus on areas we may have missed from the day before. The day then progresses to meeting with my Bankers throughout the day, and coaching them up to ensure each customer interaction is exceptional. It includes putting the right sales behaviors in place daily, and giving positive reinforcement throughout.

Advice for Getting Started

Here's the first step for college students

For someone in college looking to get into banking and become a Branch Manager, I'd suggest starting as a Teller-get your feet wet! When I was a student in high school, I was a sales associate in retail. After starting college, I started as a part time Teller, and learned to love banking. I loved the customer interaction, and the many opportunities that banking entails is amazing. From retail bank, to credit cards, small business, loans, and so much more-the options are endless.
