My road in life took a while to figure out.
I got a job working in a college. I worked in IT where I helped support many student service areas.
Some years later, I took advantage of the college's free tuition for employees and earned an MBA.
With a master's degree, I became eligible to apply for a management position.
I was willing to apply for jobs at other colleges to take advantage of opportunities.

Day to Day

Identifying bottlenecks and / or roadblocks to students completing financial aid requirements. Working with financial aid staff and other groups to implement solutions so that we can more quickly and efficiently process students' financial aid.

Here's the first step for college students

Apply for a job in the college's financial aid office. Be willing to take on extra assignments. That is how to gain experience and knowledge.
