As an entrepreneur, one of the best ways to start a company is looking for problems to solve. There are a lot of hard problems and inefficiencies in the world. Find a problem you want to solve, then start brainstorming and researching products or methods to solve it.

[MUSIC] I'm about to go on an adventure of a lifetime. We're taking an RV and we're gonna talk to lots of people about skilled jobs. &gt;&gt; We're here because we wanna learn and grow and develop in our profession. &gt;&gt; I've got random things that I'm good at and I don't really know how they all fit together yet. &gt;&gt; I feel like the future is uncertain. &gt;&gt; I missed that rush I had when I was being creative and I think this is something I'm constantly chasing. &gt;&gt; While I appreciate my college experience, I appreciate the opportunity to go to graduate school. There are more ways out there to figure out what it is that you wanna do. What could be possible if more people had the resources to take on different challenges in the world. Our young people are brilliant, what they need is the opportunity to be able to bring that brilliance out &gt;&gt; Firefighting is rewarding but I feel like the knowledge that I have could be used for more. &gt;&gt; It's so hard to get out of being stagnant. &gt;&gt; I'm kind of just trying to get back into the groove of things a little bit, try and figure out where I wanna go now. So I'm still kind of trying to find that. &gt;&gt; Plant something, grow something, have a lot of different experiences to figure out what do you wanna do. &gt;&gt; The experiences you get from travel are so great. It allows you to, perhaps better understand what you might have a long term interest in doing. &gt;&gt; That's definitely helped me give it a try and take small steps. I mean, regardless of what age I am, I still have time to make mistakes, and I still have time to keep figuring it out. Life is a journey and it's not about the end goal. &gt;&gt; I have so much passion for this and no one can take that away from me now. I'm definitely like an advocate for promoting trades, I wish it was sold to me more when I was younger. I wasn't thinking about welding four years ago, I'll tell you that much. And here I am and it's gonna be something I'll probably do for the rest of my life. &gt;&gt; You can go, you can do it, doesn't matter how old you are, doesn't matter if you're a woman or a man or non-binary or whatever. [MUSIC]
