Milestones

My road in life has been direct.
I grew up in both the Bronx and Manhattan boroughs in New York.
I’d frequently have conversations with my mother, a teacher in Manhattan, about doing social good and came to the conclusion that I wanted to solve problems through business.
I earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MBA from Columbia University.
I’ve spent my career utilizing my business skills to lead companies to solve major problems and do social good.
While leading Hycrete, a nanotechnology company focused on waterproofing concrete, I realized that to solve the water problem, we need to solve agricultural problems.
Inspired by that connection, I co-founded AeroFarms, a benefit corporation using innovations in vertical farming to change and improve our food system.
