How Leaders Describe a Typical Day at Work

Chief Financial Officer ,

The Forbes Company

I have become a pseudo lawyer and so spend my day negotiating agreements, mortgages, etc.

Director of Finance and Administration ,

BRING Recycling

I don't have a typical work day. I get bored if I don't have a lot of variety. I turn on my computer, enter bills, & pay those that are due within 10 days. I write a monthly BRING Insider newsletter that goes out with the paychecks; I use a publishing program for that. I am safety coordinator so I write up the minutes from the last meeting. I send out the staff schedule for our quarterly community newsletter. I fill out forms for our health insurance renewal & do customer count data entry.
