Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Peers:
You will not be able to lose weight. You should work in a field connected to business.
How I responded:
I faced discouragement and criticism from those who did not believe I will be able to lose weight. My family would also often try to persuade me to work in a field connected to business. I faced the discouragement by proving to those who doubted me that I could lose weight. I worked towards my goals of becoming a successful personal trainer for others who want a healthy better life just like me. Now I help others reach their fitness goals and help them gain more confidence in themselves.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I overcame my physical issues by staying dedicated and committed to losing weight. I was committed to losing weight and to healthier life. I reached my fitness goals and proved those who did not believe in me wrong.
