Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
THE NOISE
Messages from Family:
You won't be able to get a job that makes money with only a bachelor's in business administration. You will have to get an MBA to get anywhere.
How I responded:
I believe having my foundational education based in business administration has been a tremendous asset to my position and advising students. Because of this education I have and understanding of the business world in general and human resource management that enables me to speak directly to how business hire and select applicants.
Experiences and challenges that shaped me
I didn't have the money to pay for my college so I had to take out student loans to achieve my academic goals.
