My road in life took a while to figure out.
Attended business college studying accounting, sales and business administration.
Landed a job doing accounts payable in a company that provided documents to banks.
Was promoted and started doing portfolio accounting for a family of mutual funds.
Studied and passed a security license exam and became a securities trader.
Worked for a finance company doing auto loans for dealerships, then in dealerships as F&I Manager.
Started working as a mortgage broker and moved to a bank managing areas of mortgage originations.
Transitioned to the CRA Compliance Manager role I am in today.

Day to Day

Most days are spent reviewing records from various lines of business within the bank to ensure accuracy. Errors are discussed with the business owners and together solutions are found when needed.
