Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
- THE NOISE - Messages from Parents: - What kind of career is that? You should be an accountant.
- How I responded: - My parents wanted me to be an accountant, which is a great career for those who want it, but not me. Do what you are passionate about because then it will never feel like work. I learned that I love serving others and being in HR means I serve the company through supporting and developing the people.
