Students could see me sitting with a group of young people listening to music that someone in the group has created. Or group sharing issues that inhibited the expression of what might have developed with enough support. I could be facilitating group experiences that appear silent that would be about stillness and contacting the essence of truth within. Groups are about connection and authentic empowerment of self and others.
Advice for Getting Started
Here's the first step for college students
Culture an inner life through meditation, journaling, the expressive arts, etc. Take steps to find teachers or mentors who speak to your heart and gut, do what you love, spend less time connecting on social media and more with what brings you joy and aliveness and is naturally life supporting to you, others, and your environment.
