I didn't look to get into this field.  I worked in Human Resources doing training, recruitment, benefits and payroll before.  I chose to leave the paid workforce and began volunteering.  My educational background and prior experience have shaped how I approached my volunteer positions.

My mom stayed home and didn't have many outside interests.  I had to force myself to challenge myself.  Going to graduate school wasn't even something I knew about until someone mentioned it  during undergrad.

It would depend on the day.  I work in a volunteer capacity so I work from home most of the time.  I also attend a lot of meetings.  Most meetings are strategizing to move toward a goal.
