My path in life took a while to figure out
- 1. - Started singing at 5.
- 2. - Loved singing and performing, was afraid to pursue it.
- 3. - Majored in Literary Journalism because it was more stable.
- 4. - Worked with the Princeton Review after college.
- 5. - Started performing with bands all around Orange County in 2011.
- 6. - Left the Princeton Review after 3 years to pursue other interests, including music.
- 7. - Still perform with bands today.
Defining Moments
How I responded to discouragement
- THE NOISE - Messages from Parents: - You should be happy just making money. Why pursue other things if you're making money?
- How I responded: - I realized that what I do, and why I do it, is up to me, because at the end of the day I will be the person doing it. I also decided that, keeping that in mind, I am too young and my life is too much mine for me to feel like I have to live it for other people. I wanted to be happy with myself, in my own life.
